The Group actively participates in various fund raising activities organized by the Community Chest of Hong Kong and local charities. It has sponsored the Lunar New Year fireworks display for three times and is a long-time patron of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s “Chevalier Cup Race Day”. It has joined hands with the Hong Kong Red Cross to organize “Chevalier Blood Donation Day” every year since 2004 to help the needy in society.
 
In response to the “South Asia Tsunami Relief Action” in 2004, a fundraising activity was held with donation boxes placed in offices to raise funds for the victims. For every dollar donated by staff members, the Group donated HK$2. The Group made donations in 2008 to help Sichuan earthquake victims and also sponsored a number of fund raising activities in support of the post-disaster reconstruction work in Sichuan.
 
We care for the needs of all walks of life, in particular the practitioners of construction industry in Hong Kong. The Group sponsored a number of programmes organized by the Construction Industry Council to raise fund for the Construction Charity Fund. The Group also showed its full support to the “Construction Industry Caring Campaign for Fight against Novel Coronavirus” which provides monetary assistance and caring support to registered construction workers affected by the pandemic.
 
Taking the initiative to serve the community, the Group has in place a volunteer team - “Chevalier Cares” since 2011. It has arranged various visits with non-profit organizations and participated in different volunteer programs, serving those in need including the elderly, children, disabled and low income families.
