Education
Chevalier Group believes that young people are the future leaders of the society and education
plays an important role in cultivating young talents. The Group established “Chevalier Culture &
Education Foundation” in 1998, with an aim to foster cultural, academic and educational
exchanges amongst Hong Kong and other countries. Apart from donations for the construction of
school premises and related facilities, the Group has also sponsored a wide variety of education
programs and scholarship schemes of tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and Mainland China. To
nurture young professionals for the Hong Kong construction industry, the Group established
“Chevalier Group Scholarship” for all full-time students of the Vocational Training Council
(VTC) in the Engineering Discipline.
The Group has also set up the “Chevalier Scholarship Scheme for Employees’ Children” which is
aimed at assisting the children of eligible employees of the Group to attend universities. This
scheme has been in place since 2008.
